It’s 1928. Prohibition is in full swing, a body has been found at Machesney Field, and everyone in the room is a suspect. An immersive Prohibition-era murder mystery dinner set against Rockford’s own aviation history — with a full dinner, Barnstormer’s estate spirits, and 130+ characters in play across 5 grazing stations.
This is not a dinner with a mystery on the side. The mystery is the evening.

Ticketed dinners at Barnstormer are fully produced evenings. The hangar gets transformed, the menu is built for the theme, and the spirits are paired to match. These aren’t regular Friday nights with a special entrée.
Every event is different. Some are intimate. Some are theatrical. All of them are worth showing up for.
Every ticketed dinner has a fixed capacity. Once it’s sold out, it’s sold out. We don’t add tables.
Chef Tim designs the menu around the event theme. You’re not ordering off the regular menu — this is something built specifically for the night.
Every dinner is paired with our handcrafted spirits. Cocktails, pairings, and bar service are part of the evening.
The venue is dressed for the occasion. It won’t look like a Saturday afternoon when you walk in.
